D.M.V. KNIGHTS MISSON STATEMENT:

My name is Davon Trowell, founder of the D.M.V. Knights a non-profit minor league football team, established in 2007. My co-founders include James L. Crowell Jr. and La’Keesha D. Walmon both decorated Navy veterans. Our mission is to provide the young men and women in our community a positive outlet for their time and energy. We pride ourselves on our community out-reach and volunteer programs for the youth that run through our community partnership programs. We are proud to provide a positive alternative to running the streets and selling drugs, by offering young adults 18 & up Honor, Courage, and Commitment through Minor League Football. As a team we gather from all areas of the D.C. Metro area to foster a safe and family oriented atmosphere to bring exciting, hard nose entertaining football to our fans and the community.
